It has been lonely week without Meep at home BUT it went by with a blink of an eye!!! I was up and out all day and by the time I got home, I was pooped and ready to just cuddle up in my sheets and pass out. For the first time in years, I was too tired to finish up the posts I have queued up. Neways, eating was less glamourous this week but it was good enough~

Sunday – Meep had to head to the aiport but before that we needed to stop by a mall to find him a nice warm sweater! For lunch, we stopped at California Pizza Kitchen.

Monday – had my first full day of work and it was a lot longer than I expected! Not that I did much, lotsa training and setting up accounts on the computers. Got home and was exhausted! Prepared a simple quick dinner – Rice noodles with chicken & cabbage for dinner! Takes about 20 minutes and sooo delicious!

Tuesday – Kimchi stew over white rice~

Wednesday - Fettuccine with sausage in a creamy mushroom sauce. I made wayyy too much because I am so used to cooking for two plus leftovers for lunch. Ended up freezing half the sauce for later meals.

Thursday – Was so exhausted coz I had to go for a 3 hours tax class right after a full 8 hours at work. Did not make it home till it was almost 10 pm!! I decided not to cook but pick up a bento box from Sushi Infinity across the street.

Friday – PH was visiting from LA, we met through V a couple months ago. We had dinner at LB Steakhouse on Santanna Row and it was great. Food was just meh… service was quite slow but the company was great. I tried a different cut of meat that night – Dry aged strip loin, which was a tad disappointing. =( The appys and dessert was good though.

Saturday – After a long morning of learning bout California taxes, I drove a good 20 plus minutes to go pick up some dim sum!!! I ended up buying way too much BUT its all good~
Dinner was a steak I had defrosting in my fridge that HAD to be cooked. I am eating way too much heavy meals… I got to go load up on some fresh greens soon!

Another week gone, and as much as I think I should change the menu recaps since the title is no longer accurate – I have grown quite fond of the housewife’s weekly episodes.
